Pastor Jonas Powell Brinkley has devoted more than two decades to faithfully serving in ministry through preaching, teaching, and counseling. His ability to reach others with warmth, transparency, and strength has allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. For over twenty years, Pastor Brinkley has dedicated himself to living by example, encouraging men, women, and children to walk in holiness and pursue a deeper relationship with Christ. He embraces many roles—husband, father, son, brother, preacher, teacher, mentor, and role model—but above all, he remains a servant of God committed to proclaiming the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. Affectionately known as Bam, Pastor Brinkley accepted his call to preach the Gospel in April of 2002 at the age of 22, under the spiritual guidance of Pastor Ruben Newell. He began his ministry at St. John Baptist Church in Van Vleck, Texas, where he quickly became a devoted worker in the Kingdom. He actively served in the Brotherhood, played bass guitar in the Choir, joined the Intercessory Prayer Team, taught Sunday School, and launched the Young Adult Bible Study. These early years of service shaped his ministry and laid the foundation for his pastoral calling. Nearly eight years ago, Pastor Brinkley responded to God’s call to the pastorate. Since then, he has faithfully shepherded God’s people, preaching and teaching with conviction, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to truth. His ministry is marked by a passion for discipleship, a heart for intercessory prayer, and a vision to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. Pastor Brinkley has been blessed in marriage to his loving wife, Andrelin Brinkley, for more than 19 years. Together, they are the proud parents of Josiah and Madison Brinkley, who bring great joy to their lives. Pastor Brinkley’s devotion to family mirrors his devotion to ministry, as he strives daily to model Christ-centered living both in his home and in the church.
